### 1\. Alec Marsh – White Sox

Chicago signed the right-hander to a minor-league deal with a big-league spring invite, James Fegan of the Chicago Sun-Times reported Nov. 5\. Marsh last pitched in the majors for the Royals in 2024 after shoulder issues kept him sidelined the last two seasons.

MLB Pipeline’s Nov. 5 Arizona Fall League feature says the 19-year-old Yankees No. 1 prospect is hitting .295/.357/.623 with heavy extra-base damage in 15 AFL games after a hamstring injury and another six-week absence limited him to 36 games in 2026, all with defensive reps at shortstop in the desert.

### 3\. Brooks Baldwin – White Sox

(Nov. 4) After finishing rehab from April’s season-ending right-elbow internal-brace surgery, Baldwin told Scott Merkin of MLB.com he is healthy enough that he “could probably go play” in three weeks and “when Spring Training rolls around, I will be 100 percent ready to go.” Merkin notes Chicago’s young infield/outfield core leaves Baldwin fighting for a multi-position utility roster spot; he skipped winter ball ahead of an expected first child around Christmas.

### 4\. Evan Carter – Rangers

(Nov. 2) Kennedi Landry of MLB.com and Rangers beat writers reported Carter had arthroscopic right-hip surgery (labral injury and hip impingement) last week. President of baseball operations Chris Young said Carter will not be ready for the start of 2027 but is expected to play a sizable chunk of the season, with Texas prioritizing a center-field backfill via free agency or trades.

### 5\. Edwin Uceta – Rays

(Nov. 3) After Tampa Bay exercised Rasmussen’s $20 million club option, Neander told Topkin the club has “every intention right now” of having Rasmussen anchor the 2027 rotation—an intention, not a permanent trade veto.

### 9\. RJ Petit – Tigers

(Nov. 3) Jason Beck of MLB.com reported Detroit reclaimed the Rule 5 right-hander from Colorado after Petit’s March Tommy John surgery. He is back in the organization but not on the 40-man roster and “not expected to be ready to pitch until late spring or early summer,” remaining Rule 5-eligible again.

### 10\. Yimi García – Blue Jays

(Nov. 3) Free agent reliever García plans to pitch in 2027, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet reported. The 36-year-old missed all of 2026 with elbow issues and had thoracic outlet surgery in late August; he is working toward a return now.

### 11\. Jameson Taillon – Blue Jays

(Nov. 2–3) Davidi reported Taillon is coming off flexor surgery with a ligament brace and is using the recovery to fine-tune mechanics with the goal of pitching by the end of the 2027 season—a later target than García’s 2027 plan.

### 12\. Eduardo Rivera – Cardinals

### 14\. Henry Lalane – Giants

(Nov. 4) Maria Guardado of MLB.com wrote that Lalane’s fastball now averages in the mid-90s and can touch 98 after sitting 91–92 in 2024–25\. San Francisco has until Nov. 17 to decide Rule 5 protection for Lalane and other arms; Guardado says he is likely to open 2027 at Double-A Richmond with a chance to help sooner if he keeps performing.
