It’s time for me to release my 2025 MLB projections. This is year three of me making full-season projections, and I would rather call it year two since I made major changes to the model last year, which vastly improved the projections.

After last season ended, I compared my model’s performance to that of the other big boys (ATC, Steamer, The Bat). I was pleasantly surprised with how well I did. I can’t say truthfully that I am better than those other models, but at least I know I’m on pace with them. Check out that full post here.

The projections are for paid subscribers only. I can’t really pump them up as a great selling point because all of those other systems are totally free. But you get them earlier, and you get a bunch of tools that go along with them.

Let me hit some explanations and screenshots, and then I’ll put the links to everything you need below the paywall.

There are two ways to view my projections. The first way is through a Google Sheet:

I have converted the projection into a dollar figure value for each player. That is useful in comparing players together. Don’t use those as targets in an auction draft because chances are the league settings I used do not match your league. I have added that far right column called “Deep $.” That calculates the value based on a much bigger league (a 350-player draft for the first calculation and a 700-player draft for the deep column), so we can compare many more players together.

I also have two extra tabs that give the full projection details. So, for hitters, I show you singles, doubles, triples, strikeouts, walks, etc. And for pitchers, you get the details on hits and runs allowed, and then, for some reason, I give you how many ground balls, line drives, and fly balls I project. In both of those tabs, you have a column for “Lg”, which means “League.” You can use that to filter your NL-only or AL-only drafts if that’s the kind sicko you are.

The second method is a Tableau dashboard. This thing smacks. I include the other free systems in there as well so you can compare my model with the other big boys. Right now, it’s just Steamer and me, but the other systems will get in there when they release (in January, I believe).

There are many more tools coming your way that are powered by my projections. The Draft Buddy will come out in February or March, and I plan to really juice that up. Here’s what it looked like last year, and I want to make it way better this year.

We now reach the paywall. For just $9/month or $80/year, you get everything I’m doing here all year long. There are no other tiered payments; it’s all-or-nothing.
