Weather

Looks all good for the main slate. There’s a huge six-game turbo slate tonight, and there are some rain spots there, but I think everything is going to be fine.

Keep an eye on the full weather report here.

You could play both slates with ease tonight. There are six games on the turbo slate starting at 6:35pm eastern. And then nine games on the 7:07 slate.

So why not go for both? I’ll do an abbreviated preview for both so we can find the best plays.

Turbo Slate - Game Info

Nothing huge on this slate; everybody’s under five runs. The Yankees lead it, facing off against Slade Cecconi. The Tigers/Twins is the weather game. From Roth:

YELLOW/ORANGE - Another game with scattered storms around. My preferred forecast model has more storms around DET than it’s showing in a spot like PIT or CLE, but I still think they probably manage to get a game in tonight. It’s also worth noting that forecast models I don’t particularly like to use have this game fairly clear (and just because I don’t like them as much doesn’t mean they can’t be right). So I’m going to keep an eye all day on how the forecast evolves and how radar looks pregame. For now I won’t rule out a PPD, but I’m not expecting one.

It’s pretty wild to see the D’Backs implied for 3.6 runs against the Marlins. But that’s what Max Meyer has brought to the table this year.
