What game is the TRAP today……
Seven games, a 7:08 ET kick, and a slate where the field is going to do exactly what the field always does: cram into the highest number on the board and call it a night. I’m playing a couple of double-ups to protect the bankroll and a single-entry plus a small MME tournament to chase the ceiling, and the whole night comes down to one decision: do you pay up for the obvious runs at altitude, or do you find the same run environment at half the ownership somewhere else. I think the answer is hiding in plain sight.
The Run Environment
This is where I start every night now, because the Vegas number tells you where the field is going before the field gets there. Here are the top implied team totals on the main slate from the sheet:
Milwaukee, 7.6, opposing Jack Perkins
Athletics, 7.6, opposing Brandon Sproat
Cubs, 7.6, opposing Michael Lorenzen
Texas, 5.4, opposing Seth Lugo
Kansas City, 5.0, opposing MacKenzie Gore
