The Run Environment
Ten games, and the sim’s totals separate fast. KC at COL is the roof at 11.98, then WSH at ATL 10.82, DET at ATH 10.65, NYY at CHC 10.20. Everything else sits at 9.61 or below, with five games between 7.62 and 7.65.
Team totals matter more than game totals here. DET leads the slate at 6.36, KC is second at 6.34, ATL third at 6.09. Colorado, the team everyone will roster, is fifth at 5.64.
That is the trap. The field takes Coors and buys the home jerseys on autopilot. The sim says the visiting Royals are the better half of the best game, and they are cheaper. The quiet spot is Detroit at 6.36 against Jack Perkins, the only starter on the board whose sim comes in below his projection at a meaningful price.
