One of the cool things right now is that college football starts today, and that’s going to draw a lot of attention from DFS players. We might see some of the pros not in the baseball streets tonight because they’re focused on college opening day today. I always like this first weekend. Find a little bit lighter rooms to play in.
Nine games, and there is leverage. ATH @ SEA leads at 10.85, and it gets there lopsided: Seattle alone projects 7.04 runs, a full 1.56 clear of the next team on the board. TOR @ KC is next at 10.60, then ARI @ HOU at 9.85 and NYY @ SD at 9.82. The Coors game, STL @ COL, sits seventh at 9.21. TB @ TEX is the graveyard at 7.17 with Texas projected for 3.19 runs.
Seattle’s nine hitters combine for 49% ownership. St. Louis’s nine combine for 104%, and adding Colorado puts 180% of the field’s bats in a game the sim ranks seventh. That is Coors autopilot, chalk for the wrong reason, look at what the O’s did there this week.
Meanwhile 34% of the field is on George Kirby. They found the right game and they bought it through the pitcher instead of the bats.
I am a fade Coors guy most days. The quiet spot is every Seattle hitter under 8% owned.
