I like to do this thing in the daily notes sometimes, where I want to really brag to my home league mates about a good draft pick or player add I’ve had. But it’s super lame to blatantly brag and do that kind of stuff. The way to go in life is to do a bunch of good and cool stuff, but never talk about it.
So what I’ll do in those cases is take a roundabout way to get to it. I’ll group that hitter with other hitters who are doing similar things. But then I’ll really focus on the guy I wanted to. That makes it look like just happenstance!
So let’s look at the list of hitters with multiple homers and multiple steals so far, and let’s sort it by, I DON’T KNOW I’LL JUST RANDOMLY PICK - on base percentage.
Wow it’s Sal Stewart! He homered and swiped a bag yesterday to get him to three homers and three steals. Only CJ Abrams, Cam Smith, and Elly De La Cruz have three homers and three steals.
And now he’s a .980 OPS guy in 109 Major League PAs.
He’s the #1 first baseman and #1 third baseman (where he has that eligibility) on the player rater:
And he’s on my home league. It’s a beauty. And I think that team is really good.
Who I don’t have on the home league team is Drake Baldwin, who now leads the league in fantasy point scoring. He’s hitting .321/.390/.623 with five bombs and 15 RBI (which is the most RBI in the league).
Your top 20 in fantasy points scored:
Baldwin
Yordan
Abrams
Hoerner
C Walker
Stewart
J Walker
Carroll
Altuve
Wood
Yandy
Pages
Rice
O Cruz
Wilyer
Gunnar
Yelich
Olson
Cam Smith
Turang
I accidentally bolded four random names there. But those guys are all on my home league team, what a crazy thing to happen. I have four of twenty, which is 20%. And it’s a ten-team league, so you’d expect me to only have 10%. You could say that I’m two times better than everybody else in the league. I wouldn’t say it, but you could say it. It’s a free country.
NEW REPORT REVEAL
This thing happens to me all of the time now where I’m doing something normal. Like going for a walk with my kids or eating dinner or something, and an idea for a new report or tool or dashboard page will pop into my head. And I like can’t ignore it. It just sits there until I do it. So that happened last night.
