The minor league season began last night with some AAA action. So that means a new Prospect Analysis Dashboard has been born.
Where do we start from Friday? We could talk about how I gave the farm back on DFS. My main arms were Cole Ragans and Mike Burrows.
Ragans (vs ATL) → 4 IP, 6 H, 4 ER, 5 SO, 4 BB
Burrows (vs LAA) → 5.2 IP, 9 H, 5 ER, 6 SO, 2 BB
Ragans wasn’t throwing strikes (44.4% Strike%) and Burrows just didn’t do anything much well (10.6% SwStr%, 37.2% Ball%).
Burrows did throw that new sinker 16% of the time, which is the main reason we liked his chances to have a nic season with the Astros.
But now that’s completely over, Burrows is very obviously COOKED and you should drop him immediately and quit fantasy baseball for life.
