I did this because I’m getting murked in hitting in the RotoBaller staff league and in TGFBI, so maybe this will help me find some help.
Alex Kirilloff is back in the Majors, and he is someone that should be picked up. Here’s his last three seasons’ worth of stats broken down by level:
He was really impressive when healthy last year in the Majors, managing a high barrel rate and low strikeout rate at the same time. He’s a special hitter that has been forgotten because of all of these injuries. There’s no reason to think he’ll stay healthy now, because this wrist thing has been nagging him for years - but the Twins gave him a vote of confidence with the call-up and if the wrist is right, he should be started in almost every league. Go get him!
Plenty of really good pitching outings yesterday. Merrill Kelly had one of his splash games, but nothing has changed for him this year (25.5% K%, 12% BB%), he just remains a solid but unspectacular SP for fantasy purposes.
Bailey Ober made his case to raise his ownership, pitching seven scoreless innings against the Guardians. I’m a big fan of his, so I think he can be picked up in almost all leagues.
There are a whole bunch of player requests from yesterday. I will not be able to get to them today or tomorrow since it’s the weekend, but I’ll chip away at a few starting Monday - and maybe even just cover some on Twitter throughout the weekend when I get some time, but I can’t guarantee your questions will get answered now since quite a few came in.
