MLB Daily Notes: Saturday, September 24
Playoff Update
We are going to be butt-puckered until the finish. I escaped Rodon & Cole as they both screwed the pooch, and then I ran out another solid pitching night with Nola, Singer, Jon Gray, Ohtani, and Springs. Also nabbed another save from Doval to tie that up.
My offense is just not doing it and now I’m worried about it being down 9 runs. My Dodgers have played six games and done basically nothing, they got blanked last night and scored four runs over their last three games. I’m used to them scoring five a game and getting some serious action from Betts & Trea, but it’s not happening. Hopefully they can bust out tonight. I’m also finding that it’s tougher to win runs, homers, and RBI when Aaron Judge isn't hitting a homer every night. What the hell is up with that. Guy has one homer this week, one!?

I’m definitely feeling better than a couple of days ago, but it’s going to be a high-stress finish. My wife, the Andrea-inator, is certainly ready for it to be over.
I’d write more but Tableau still sucks and the refreshes take manual work every morning, and that’s taking forever today. My son is magnificently still sleeping here at 8:20 am, but that is certainly about to change so I’ll have to go get him so my wife, aka Doctor Dre, can sleep however long she wants.
