Quick hits on this slate that starts at 12:10. Not much time to get it done, but something is better than nothing!

Pitchers

The cash duo is coming down to two of those top three. Sean Burke has ended up on top here as his breakout season has been maintained. He’s getting better and better, and now he has a 7.2-strikeout projection against this Yankees lineup.

Weathers is not “cash safe”, but he’s a good pitcher more often than he’s a bad pitcher, and the park upgrade is in play here. It’s better to be a lefty against the White Sox, and there’s not a ton to like on a four-game slate with two pitchers basically being openers.

Shane McClanahan doesn’t have much ceiling, and the Rangers are hitting well lately and have hit better on the road all year. I don’t think it’s a fantastic spot for McClanahan, although his home numbers are very good.

He’s having trouble getting through six innings. He’s done it a few times, but they’re usually happy to yank him with 70-80 pitches after the fifth.

Burke + Weathers is the upside combo, but Burke + McClanahan is safer.

You can play just about anybody on a four-game slate. You can scratch off Cole Winn as an opener. And probably Javier Assad ($7,500) too since he’s thrown 30 and 32 pitches in his last two.

Noah Cameron ($6,500) is priced appropriately against the Twins. Buxton is back on the IL, which is a big boost for these lefties facing Minnesota.

Bailey Ober ($6,900) gets a good matchup with the Royals, too. But his K% is 17% and he’s givenup homers. So I don’t really want to use him, but if you’re going for first place on a four-game slate with no clear MLB ACE on the board, you should probably expand your mind a bit.

I’m on Burke + McClanahan for cash. For tourneys, I’d probably use Burke + Weathers + McClanahan + Cameron.

Hitters

Game Data:

Twins against Cameron still implied for a lot of runs on top of the slate. I don’t get the love for Minnesota there with no Buxton, but there it is.

The Cardinals are ther at #2 with a 4.85 run implication. Half a run better than normal against a few innings of Assad and a beatable Cubs bullpen. They’d be my preferred stack.

You can definitely go to the Cubs, too. Pallante is the pitcher there, and he doesn’t give up many homers, but he can get hit around a lot with his super low K%.

The Rays are also up there against the Rangers bullpen game. It’s not a deep Rangers bullpen by any means, but at least they’ll be able to pick their matchups to some extent. But I’m down for that. Just build your stacks around Caminero.
