As the sports world turns the page to the football game tonight, we are playing some MLB DFS!

Weather

Maybe a little rain in the LAA/BOS and ARI/KC games. But we aren’t seeing major concern from the weather guys.

Game Info

Three standout spots:

TOP SPOTS

Yankees vs. Sugano: 6.44 implied, +2.27
Dodgers vs. Lowder: 6.32 imlied, +1.51
Red Sox vs. Johnson: 6.21 implied, +1.59

Sugano is somehow 12-8, which is hilarious. But he’s very bad, and the Yankees have Judge back. Judge went 0/3 last night and will be removed early in a lot of games, so he’s a tough click in DFS until we see him getting back to normal, but the lineup around him is in a great spot tonight and they all benefit from him being back.

The Dodgers face another weak Reds starter and bullpen. We’ll see if Ohtani will play tonight, he missed three straight and then sat again last night one night after returning. They are easiest to stack without Ohtani, who isn’t a good pay-up play in his current injured form anyways.

Since Ryan Johnson has (somehow) been pretty good in the second half, I don’t want to go after the Red Sox too much. A few stacks of the Sox in a 20-lineup build is warranted, Johnson’s underlying numbers really aren’t convincing at all, but he has a weird delivery and has gotten a lot of outs lately without many runs allowed.

NEXT BEST

Marlins vs. Robert Stock

5.05 implied, +0.59

White Sox vs. Pirates Bullpen Game

4.90 implied, -0.06

Guardians vs. Shane Baz

4.60 implied, +0.62

Arizona vs. Daniel Lynch

4.63 implied, +0.23

Mets vs. Janson Junk

4.41 implied, +0.01

The Marlins are #2 on my projections, and they’re pretty cheap. So that’s a great spot to lean into.

I also love the Snakes against Daniel Lynch and this Royals bullpen.

And the Mets are just humming right now and get another soft matchup with Junk and the fish bullpen.

So that’s what I’m going with. I’d stack ‘em up like this:

  1. Yankees

  2. Mets

  3. Marlins

  4. D’Backs

  5. Dodgers
