MLB DW Dynasty League
The MLB Data Warehouse startup Dynasty League begins in 2026, apply within!
It’s been a temptation for a few years now, but I have finally bitten the apple. The launch of the new prospect content and all of the interest I’ve had on this front in the past means it’s time to launch THE OFFICIAL MLB DATA WAREHOUSE DYNASTY LEAGUE (TOMDWDL). That’s what we’ll call it. TOMDWDL. Tom-Dwa-Dill. That’s a joke.
Basic Details
I don’t know yet. I’ve never played in a serious Dynasty League, much less run one. So I’m going to seek input from the league members. But here’s what I know:
FanTrax
Paid subs to MLB DW get priority
$100 Yearly Fee
15-Team Minimum (and will go up to 30 depending on interest)
Massive Rosters
Slow Draft beginning in January or February
Widespread and creative payouts (I would like to see 20-30% of the league getting payouts of some amount throughout the year to keep things interesting)
Whatever the most experienced dynasty players who join the league think is best, that’s probably what we’ll do.
We reserve the right to kick out inactive owners every winter, and I hope to create a pretty active section of the MLB DW Discord Channel to help with communication, banter, and trash talk.
The other thing is that I’m looking for someone else to be the commissioner. If I have to run the league, I think I’ll go nuts. My offer is that whoever steps up to run the league will get their MLB DW subscription comp’d as long as you’re commissioner, and I will pay your entry fee for this first year. I hope that’s enough to coax some volunteers!
If you want in, fill out this application form:
Your name, email, general location (USA preferred for payment processing purposes), and some comments about why you should be selected are required.
I’m not saying you have to write an official cover letter, but I really want to do my best to avoid people who won’t be highly active. I do not intend to accept every applicant, so unless you’re very serious about this and really want in, I’d ask you not to apply. These leagues can be a huge pain to run, and I’m trying to make it as easy and fun as possible.
I will take applications for the next several weeks, and we’ll try to have everything filled out and finalized by December 1st. And then we’ll schedule the draft and get going.
