This could be the softest matchup of the season for Webb. He’s comfortably at home against a lineup that does not threaten much damage. Here’s the matchup data:
It’s another spot where you might not pile up strikeouts, but there’s a ton of red in that xwOBA column. Runs mostly come from extra base hits, and I don’t think the Pirates will getting many extra base hits tonight. I like Webb to get deep into this game and limit runs.
