MLB DW Slate Preview - June 10
My rundown of today's MLB slate, including full projections and analysis for each game
I hit some props here, so we’re just going to focus on the DFS slate at the top of this piece.
Pitchers
MacKenzie Gore ($10,000) vs. NYM
Not an easy spot for Gore, but this is a rough slate for pitching, and I think he’s up to the task. He leads the slate in pretty much everything, and is way ahead in the JA ERA mark with his sparkling 1.88 mark. That’s powered by his 35.5% K%, 6.9% BB%, and 38 PA/HR. He’s been great at everything you want to be great at. There’s even some bad luck in the profile with a .341 BABIP allowed. And he has not folded in tough matchups to this point. He scored 31.4 DraftKings points last time out against the Cubs, and put up 23.9 against the Dodgers earlier this year. He clears the rest of the slate by 2.5 fantasy points - a huge gap.
Kyle Harrison ($6,600) vs. Rockies
Harrison got roughed up last time out, allowing nine hits and five earnies to the Padres. But he gets the opportunity to bounce back here against the Rockies. It’s a tough environment tonight with temps in the 80s and some wind blowing out. The game total is way up there at 11.5, but the price seems to have been overly adjusted down to $6,600 to cover that. And the Rockies are not an offense to avoid even in Coors Field.
