Athletics vs. Phillies
Ginn:
A 7.3% K-BB%. That’s awful. The command hasn’t been there. He’s a ground ball guy (48% GB%) who can keep the ball mostly in the yard, but a 31 PA/HR and 7.1% Brl% show that you can definitely can do some damage against him. So we like the Phillies lineup, and I don’t see much of a path to him being a great DFS play at $7,000.
Painter:
The fastball velo just doesn’t really work for him. It’s just a 10.1% SwStr% despite that big velocity. His slider has been good, and he throws seven different pitches. He’s in consideration, although being a righty against the Athletics isn’t the best place to be, especially if we don’t think you’re a guy who can whiff your way right through the lineup.
It’s a four-game slate, so we have to keep Painter in consideration. But I’d be pretty into stacking both lineups.
