Yesterdays first edition of this was a big hit, so we’re back for day two. Tuesdays and Fridays will always be my favorite MLB slates, so I really like to dive in on those days when I have the opportunity. Let’s hit some money matchups for Tuesday!

Bryan Reynolds vs. Nick Martinez

B-Rey has been one of the least lucky hitters in the league. His xwOBA green line has been well above his actual wOBA red line all season.

He is hitting just .145/.232/.290 in May, however he has a 10.9% Brl% and a .338 xwOBA - both of which are very respectable numbers.

So Reynolds is “due”, if you want to call it that. I don’t want to call it that, but I just did. The key point would be that the prices/expectations on Reynolds might be off because of his recent poor fortune.

Reynolds shows up on the BOOM hitters today. He’s been fantastic against pitches like the ones that Nick Martinez throws.

If BvP matters to you (it probably shouldn’t), this will get you a little bit excited.

And indeed, Reynolds is pretty cheap on DraftKings

→ 2+ Total Bases +125
→ 1+ Home Run +800
