New Podcast Episode & MLB DW Updates
A new podcast episode drops, and I have a few updates to provide
I had a lot of fun just now talking to myself. Some nostalgia about being a teenager and playing fantasy baseball, and then I got into some actual useful information in the Mariners and Cubs previews.

Other Updates
Rankings Are Coming
I am very close to finishing the team previews, which means my rankings will be done in the next few days. That means I’ll be putting the final touches on them next week and giving all paid subscribers access.
They are the result of a 4+ month writing process where I went player-by-player, inserting each guy into the rankings as I went. I didn’t start with a list generated in some other way and edited it, I started with nothing and will end up with 500+ players ranked. It will be very interesting to see where my ranks differ with ADP and other people’s ranks.
Position Previews are Coming
I will also be beginning the position previews next week. This year, I’m going backward. I think I’m going to go in this order.
Relievers
Starting Pitchers
Outfielders
Third Base
Shortstop
Second Base
First Base
Catchers
There will be an extensive written piece and a podcast episode for each.
Price Increase is Coming Next Week
I feel like I’m writing so much and doing so much useful stuff with the projections that a price hike is justified. The in-season daily projections themselves are probably worth a few hundred dollars a year. They are comparable to The Bat, and that will cost you around $400 a season, I think. So you’re getting an absolute steal here for the $9/month or $80/year. You’re still going to be getting a steal, by the way. I’m planning to jump the price up to $12/month and $99/year. That’s because nobody charges $100 a year. That would be stupid. Nobody would buy it for $100, but everybody will buy it for $99. Duh!
This only applies to new subscribers. Whatever price you subscribe at is locked for the life of your subscription. That kind of sucks for me cause a lot of you got in here for $5/month or $40/year - but hey, thanks for your early adoption and loyalty! I will not ever try to charge you more, so don’t worry about that.
If you’ve been hesitant about subscribing or plan to do so as the season approaches, I recommend signing up now for the $9/month or $80/year before I increase the price on Monday. It’s a last call!
