In Park Predictors, we look at favorable matchups for hitters and pitchers based on where they are playing this week and the MLB DW Park Factors, which look at four years' worth of data for MLB ballparks.

Here’s a look at the June 15-21:

HITTERS

Pittsburgh Pirates

What a week on the road for the Pirates’ hitter – three games in Sacramento, followed by three at Coors Field. Both parks play better for right-hander home runs.

The Athletics are likely starting Jack Perkins (6.25 ERA), rookie lefty Gage Jump, and then a bullpen or minor league callup effort. The Rockies will likely have their lone left Kyle Freeland on the mound to end the week.

This could be a good time for Pirates rookie Esmerlyn Valdez to continue to show his power stroke, while veteran Marcell Ozuna (.193/.274/.299) will have a shot to show he still has some right-handed hitting power. And maybe switcher Bryan Reynolds boost his HR totals during another solid season.
