Toronto Blue Jays
With three games in Sacramento before returning home to face the Orioles, who are still fighting for a playoff spot, the Blue Jays should have good hitting environments all week.
Despite Vladimir Guerrero Jr.’s 2026 season-long slide, Toronto, which bought pitching and sold hitting at the deadline, has started to find its stride since August 1. The trio of George Springer (.312/.368/.496 with team-high 24 RBI since the All-Star break), Alejandro Kirk (.318/.392/.473 with team-high 6 HRs) and deadline pickup Brett Bateman (.330, 122 wRC+) has helped turn the fortunes.
With Joey Estes (5.59 ERA in 153 career innings) and rookie Kade Morris (9.82 ERA in 14.2 innings) getting two of the three starts for the Athletics, the hits should keep coming for the Blue Jays.
As a team, the Blue Jays have a 98 wRC+ vs. right-handers that drops to 84 against lefties. Monday and Sunday are the only days of the week they are scheduled to face lefthanders, so load up appropriately.
