HITTERS
Los Angeles Dodgers
Starting with four games at Cincinnati’s Great American Ball Park and finishing at home against long-time rivals the Giants.
Dodgers lead MLB in road wRC+, batting average, OBP, and slugging. And it is not close in any of those categories. So getting four games in the park that continues to give up the most home runs to lefthanders and the second-most of righthanders, should be music to the ears of the Dodgers sluggers. I mean maybe even Kyle Tucker hits a homer!
At home, the Dodgers are shockingly in the bottom half of the league for hitting in almost all categories. With that payroll, that should never happen.
With Andy Pages, Dalton Rushing and Shohei Otani in various levels of injuries, the top two Dodgers in home wRC+ are Miguel Rojas and Max Muncy, both at 119. Lots of room for Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman and other stars to pick up the slack.
