HITTERS
Boston Red Sox
It is a weird week with most teams splitting home and away. While Fenway has not been one of the better parks for home years over the past handful of seasons, it is a place to score runs. After starting the season 13-29 at home, the Red Sox have won 25 of their last 33.
It’s a six-game week at home to finish the regular season with three games against the Guardians and Cubs.
Willson Contreras (178), Nick Sogard (162), Mickey Gasper (157), Adley Rutschman (130), and Roman Anthony (120) lead Red Sox hitters in home wRC+ this season.
The schedule lines up for the Red Sox to face five left-handed starters in the final six games. Another benefit for the Red Sox, who have been 10 percent better hitters against lefthanders compared to righthanders.
