Park Predictors - Week 6
Examining the park influence for hitters, pitchers as you prepare for the week ahead
In Park Predictors, we look at favorable matchups for hitters and pitchers based on where they are playing this week and the MLB DW Park Factors, which look at four years' worth of data for MLB ballparks.
Here’s a look at the April 27-May 3:

Athletics
Six games in Sacramento split between the Royals and Guardians sets up well for the Athletics offense. But will they take advantage?
So far in 2026, young power hitters Nick Kurtz, Shea Langeliers and Tyler Soderstrom have hit 15 of their 17 home runs on the road. This week will give them a chance to even out those numbers.
Surprising slugger Carlos Cortes (4 HRs and 4 Ks to start the season) might have a struggle to get in the lineup as the Athletics are expected to see three lefty starters in the six games.
For the Royals and Guardians, it is only a half week of hitting fun as Kansas City goes to the hitting desert of Seattle and the Guardians will be at home for their other three games this week. Royals lefthanded power hitters such as Jac Caglianone, Vinnie Pasquantino and Carter Jensen could still have a full week of above average home run possibilities.
