In Park Predictors, we look at favorable matchups for hitters and pitchers based on where they are playing this week and the MLB DW Park Factors, which look at four years' worth of data for MLB ballparks.

Here’s a look at the May 11-17:

HITTERS

Athletics

Six straight at home against the Cardinals and Giants sounds like a set it and forget it situation. But not so fast.

This season, the Athletics have averaged one home run per 37.5 plate appearances with a .269/.367/.424 slash line. On the road, they are hitting a home run once every 30.5 plate appearance but with a .237/.296/.393.

I’m willing to chalk that up to a slow start across the roster, as the team is hitting .281/.360/.444 over the past 10 games with only 12.3 plate appearances between round trippers.
