Projection Powered Player Props - August 9
Jon dishes out a handful of projection-powered props for the Saturday slate
I guess Stu has abandoned us, we haven’t gotten much from him in the second half! I’m diving in on this Saturday slate to ram out a couple of plays to follow along with.
Luis Gil Under 4.5 Hits -120
He threw 77 pitches and was all over the place in his first start (42.9% Ball%, more balls than strikes). He had basically no command of the baseball last year, either, but his nastiness and good fortune turned in a really nice rookie year for him.
We are depending on him being very wild with this line. You can’t give up many hits if you don’t throw many strikes. And Gil’s strikes are tough to hit.
