There’s no better fantasy baseball content than a list of pitchers. No position in professional sports is more interesting to dig into than starting pitchers in baseball. That isn’t to say that, say, quarterbacks aren’t the most important or every bit as interesting to examine as pitchers, but the control the pitcher has over the game and the data we have to dive into - both of those things are unmatched in all of sports.

If you’re a paid subscriber, you’ve had access to my player ranks for a long time now. I have been updating those as the news changes things. So, I figured I’d snatch some low-hanging fruit and make a post about the updated 100.

Tier One

  1. Tarik Skubal

  2. Paul Skenes

Notes:

  • No change, and I do not anticipate any coming.

Tier Two

  1. Logan Gilbert

  2. Zack Wheeler

  3. Garrett Crochet ⬆️

Notes:

  • Crochet’s rank doesn’t change, but I have moved him up to tier two.

Tier Three

  1. Cole Ragans

  2. George Kirby ⬇️

  3. Corbin Burnes

  4. Yoshinobu Yamamoto

  5. Chris Sale

  6. Dylan Cease

  7. Michael King

Notes:

  • Ragans moves up a slot with a higher strikeout upside than Kirby & Burnes.

  • Sale remains in the top ten, but I still won’t draft him!
