Baltimore Orioles
Closer: Rico Garcia (Ryan Helsley expected back ~6/12)
Garcia continues to dominate while Helsley is out. At this point, he may have pitched well enough to force a conversation even after Helsley returns.
Holds Targets: Anthony Núñez
Only recommending Núñez this week. He’s clearly the arm Baltimore trusts most in hold situations right now.
Boston Red Sox
Closer: Aroldis Chapman
Still excellent and completely locked into the role.
Holds Targets: Garrett Whitlock
Up to nine holds and easily the best setup option in Boston.
New York Yankees
Closer: David Bednar
Recent blown save adds a little pressure, but he’s still the closer for now.
Holds Targets: Camilo Doval, Fernando Cruz, Tim Hill, Brent Headrick, Jake Bird
Bird joins the list. Deep bullpen with several usable options, though Cruz and Hill remain the preferred targets.
