April 1 – April 14

Every couple of weeks, I’ll be breaking down bullpen situations across the league—highlighting closers and key holds targets (aka the guys who actually matter in SV+HLD leagues).

I’ll alternate between AL and NL each update and keep this rolling all season.

Atlanta Braves

Closer: Raisel Iglesias
No drama here. Iglesias is the guy. The “Triple C” (clear-cut closer). Don’t overthink it.

Holds Targets: Robert Suarez, Aaron Bummer, Dylan Lee
Suarez and Bummer have the early holds, but I prefer Dylan Lee. He’s been the best of the group and should earn more high-leverage work.

Miami Marlins

Closer: Pete Fairbanks
He’s got the job (2 saves), but… it’s the Marlins.

Holds Targets: Andrew Nardi, Tyler Phillips
Nardi should get consistent chances. Phillips? More of a “fun guy” than a “good pick” (but hey, bullpen vibes matter).

New York Mets

Closer: Devin Williams
They paid him. He’s elite. This job isn’t changing.

Holds Targets: Luke Weaver, Brooks Raley
Weaver should pile up holds. Raley is next in line—for now.
