The Bullpen Tracker: NL
A weekly article looking for saves and holds across the league
Atlanta Braves
Closer: Raisel Iglesias
Still firmly in control. No concerns here.
Holds Targets: Dylan Lee, Robert Suarez, Tyler Kinley (IL, expected back late June)
Kinley’s injury gives Lee and Suarez even more leverage opportunities. Both remain excellent SV+HLD options.
Miami Marlins
Closer: Pete Fairbanks
Still the unquestioned closer. The only concern remains how often Miami can hand him save chances.
Holds Targets: Anthony Bender, Michael Peterson
With Andrew Nardi landing on the 60-day IL, Bender and Peterson move into the primary setup roles.
New York Mets
Closer: Devin Williams
The results still aren’t pretty, but the role remains secure.
Holds Targets: Luke Weaver, Brooks Raley
Nothing changes here. These remain the only Mets relievers worth targeting outside of Williams.
Philadelphia Phillies
Closer: Jhoan Duran
One of the best closers in baseball. Keep moving along.
Holds Targets: José Alvarado, Orion Kerkering, Brad Keller
Keller continues piling up holds and has quietly become the highest-priority setup arm in this bullpen.
Washington Nationals
Closer: Committee
Save chances continue bouncing around the roster.
Holds Targets: None
Too much uncertainty to recommend anyone confidently.
Chicago Cubs
Closer: Daniel Palencia
Still waiting for the Cubs to start converting wins into save opportunities.
Holds Targets: Hobey Milner, Phil Maton
No reason to move off either player, though the recent lack of opportunities is frustrating.
