Well Las Vegas continues to be just a total insane launch park for the A’s. They went off again last night and we still have the wind blowing out there again today. We also have Chicago and Colorado again with the wind blowing out.
Shota started off really hot but is clearly a fly ball pitcher so like some Rockies Bats. It’s also going to be 100 degrees in Vegas today when the game goes. With that and the wind blowing out it’s just going to continue to be gassing out pitchers and you can pretty much just bet everybody at this point and hope you get the guys right. We’ll probably take the guys with a little bit better value today and see if we can hit there. The other spot I really like today is Texas and Kansas City. They got some thunderstorms but they’re going to pass through. 16 mph wind blowing out. That’s just going to be a spot to attack.
That being said the spot we’re going to attack here for the free play of the day is Peter Lambert of the Astros going to get the Angels. We know that we’re going to attack the Angels with right-handed pitchers, the number one K-rate team in the league this season versus right-handed pitching and the number one K-rate team overall. His line is just off at a 4.5 line when we project him at 5.6. Lambert’s thrown an average of 95 pitches in his last three outings so let’s load up to have some fun.
