IF you read Jon’s article yesterday. You knew we both like Roki and he was going against the Angels, who just can’t not K vs righties. I didn’t make it back in time to get anything out and of course he went all the way to 10ks. I’m a little bummed we left those units on the board but we were still up for the day overall. We got Suzuki right but just didn’t have the right to Giants bats. Everybody but Rafey went off yesterday with those 18 runs.
Our free play of the day is Pavin Smith of the Diamondbacks. He gets to face Mr. Zack Littell today and if you’ve read any of these articles, you know we like attacking Zack, the guy who has just been horrendous versus left-handed hitters this year. We’re getting a ton of value with Pavan now that he’s working his way back and becoming healthy. Remember Zack is giving up a 41% fly ball rate, a 45% hard hit rate. He has a 3.45 home run per nine innings rate and an insane .315 ISO given up to lefties.
