I’ll be frank. I don’t love the betting card tonight. I’m actually going to be really light. This is one of the things you have to learn when you’re betting and being disciplined. I could put something out just to put it out, but I don’t want to do that.
The couple spots I like, I’m going to start here:
Hayden Wesneski is back. Coming off of Tommy John, he’s stretched out and has been throwing at AAA. If you’re going to come back, why not come back against the LA Angels, who just strike out more than anybody on earth? Frankly, it’s impressive to have three or four guys in your lineup that strike out over 30% of the time. His line is only 4.5 coming back out tonight, and I think in this situation, it’s just too good an opportunity at too low a line to pass up on.
