We crushed yesterday’s card and, frankly, got hosed on Junior only getting one home run. They basically didn’t pitch to him after that. He should have had two, but again, if you ever see me bet a full unit on a home run prop, know that I think it is massively EV that day. Burt got us to 8 Ks. Should have had 9. Also, I am freaking bitter. I really needed his win at the NFBC, and those jerks in the bullpen just blew it the second they took him out. Also, Jake Irvin still sucks.

All right, we got a really interesting spot today that Jon told me to take a look at, and I did, and I actually really like what I see. Here’s what we got: George Klassen is throwing against the Rangers today. We project him at 5.7 Ks, and here’s the interesting part: he had a 32% whiff rate in his couple outings so far. It just hasn’t translated to the Ks, but add that in with a 13.6 swinging strike percentage, and it’s gonna add up. Then you go into the 2026 season for Texas, and 7 out 9 guys in their lineup against right-handed pitching strikes out at over a 20% clip. Remember, this is really the guy they picked up for Estevez when he was traded. In the minors, he’s had an 11K/9, and his stuff really is electric. It’s an upper-90s fastball. He’s going to get some run here at the end of the season. I think this is a super buy low spot
