Sorry to Mr. Jon here, but our bet of the day is going to be against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Logan Henderson takes them on, and we are getting plus money on his prop line of 6.5 Ks. We’re gonna break down here why we like this spot. Henderson has been thoroughly impressive.
While only throwing 44 innings, he’s been lights out. He has a 31.5% K rate, 22.6% putaway rate, and a 15.4% swinging strikeout rate. Pittsburgh is the number one K rate team this season, overtaking the Angels. They’re number two on the road and then number three versus right-handed pitching. Henderson is a guy that put up nine Ks versus the Mets, and the Mets don’t strike out very much. Meanwhile, you have guys like Reynolds, Lowe, Ozuna and Valdez, who all strike out at a 28% clip or higher, and Valdez is at 41%. This line should be at -145. That’s why we’re putting two units on it today, and we’re gonna take a small shot at the top of the ladder.
