We have six Coors Games this week with the Giants and Padres both heading in there. Visitors in Coors Field this year are hitting .313/.372/.517. That’s an .889 OPS. So you want to get your Padres and Giants bats in the lineup if possible.

My list of recommended, available two-start SPs is below. Luis Garcia (HOU) is back. So that sucks for me. The duplicate name has already wreaked havoc. You’d think I would have figured out how to handle that now. And I mostly have, but still it caused the weekly projections to fail for a day or two there. Here’s his rehab:

He worked the whole way up to AAA and was getting strikeouts while limiting walks. You would have to call that a successful rehab. This guy had some moments back in 2021-2022, but man, that’s three years ago now. And mostly, he’s been something equivalent to a big league SP3 or so.

Not a must-own fantasy option by any means, but there’s a shot he can help some teams in the playoff weeks.

  • Parker Messick (BOS & TB)

  • Charlie Morton (NYM & CWS)

  • Ryne Nelson (TEX & BOS)

  • Luis Garcia (LAA & TEX)

  • Luis Morales (STL & LAA)

  • Ryan Gusto (WSH & PHI)

There are no road Rockies matchups. Here’s who squares off with the Pirates this week:

Maybe you can grab Sheehan (must add if available), Kershaw, or Priester. But in competitive leagues, they’re probably all gone.

Against White Sox:

Bailey Ober and Taj Bradley are interesting here. Neither can be trusted, and both have gotten absolutely trucked at times. But there’s been some positive signs recently for both guys.

The five lowest OPS teams of the second half have been Cleveland, St. Louis, Washington, Cincinnati, and Houston. So you could explore pitchers against those lineups as well.

None of this stuff is information I have that I’m holding back from paid subs! Go check out the weekly projections dashboard to do your own homework.
