Pitchers

Duh

It’s probably too late for all of these guys, but we are past the part of the season where you can find a no-brainer pitcher on the waiver wire. Five names below 80% should be picked up in all leagues.

  • Taj Bradley (54% Owned)

  • Matt Waldron (64% Owned)

  • Hunter Brown (75% Owned)

  • Cristopher Sanchez (75% Owned)

  • Gavin Stone (80% Owned)

Probably

These are the three I am targeting the most right now.

  • Spencer Schwellenbach (21% Owned): He got hit around in St. Louis last week, but I absolutely love what I see from him - as I’ve written much about this week.

  • Yusei Kikuchi (53% Owned): He has gone through a rough patch lately, and I doubt it goes super well against the Yankees this weekend. However, the ownership has dipped significantly, and we should not forget that he posted a 19% K-BB% and 13.4% SwStr% over the last two years. That’s a solid contributor overall; jump at him if someone in your league bailed/bailed.

  • Christian Scott (15% Owned): He should be back soon. He wasn’t doing everything we wanted to see in his last few starts in his first MLB stint, but the box score results were good, and he has good stuff and great command. He should be owned in 12-team leagues or deeper when he gets the call.
