Duh

  • Yusei Kikuchi (48% Owned): 23% K-BB%, you know the rules.

  • Spencer Schwellenbach (16% Owned): I wish I could wait for this Padres start tonight before I make this bold declaration. I guess I could wait, this is my blog I can do whatever I want - but I’m not going to. Schwelly has a strong 19% K-BB% and an elite 52.6% Strike% with a 29% Ball%. He’s one of the most impressive strike-throwers in the league. He also has a great 14.8% SwStr%. It’s one of the most impressive resumes in the league. The thing I’m worried about is that he doesn’t have great stuff. So it’s possible the whiffs are just a product of good luck and he’ll end up much less dominant in the zone than he has been so far. But yeah, I feel pretty confident about him.

  • Shane Baz (30% Owned): It’s very simple with Baz. He has a career 28% K% and 6.6% BB% in 50.1 innings. Those innings are few and far between, but while he’s on the mound - you want him in fantasy. He’s excellent. He might get torched a few times by the long ball (he gives up a lot of fly balls), but the strikeouts will be there and his command has been very good in his short career.
