Pitchers

Duh

If you make 5+ starts with a K-BB% above 20%, you’re a “duh”. Those are the rules.

  • Paul Skenes (60% Owned): He starts Saturday and must be owned in all leagues, unless you’re in like a two-teamer or something.

  • Christian Scott (7% Owned): Looked phenomenal in his debut, and I don’t even really care what happens in this Braves start. Must-add. Crazy to see the ownership difference so large between Skenes and Scott.

  • Nick Lodolo (70% Owned): 25% K-BB%.

  • Jack Flaherty (52% Owned): Man would I like to play in a league where Flaherty has made it this long on the waivers.

  • Kyle Bradish (62% Owned): He’s back and the workload has been built up. I don’t love the guy, but I can’t deny he’s a top-50 SP which makes him an easy 100% owned pitcher.

  • Garrett Crochet (46% Owned): Gary-Croch-It, still doing it! 32.3% K%, 5.5% BB%.

  • MacKenzie Gore (34% Owned): K-BB% above 20%, counts!

  • Zack Littell (28% Owned): The Rays have done it again, 22.6% K-BB%.

  • Ryan Pepiot (74% Owned): 21.3% K-BB%.

  • Reid Detmers (70% Owned): 18.2% K-BB% and 15% SwStr%. I don’t think he’ll ever be the ace people hoped, but he seems like an easily above-average Major League starter, and he’s still 24.

  • Yusei Kikuchi (66% Owned): I hesitate slightly on the 26.5% K% given his 11.9% SwStr% - but you know the rules, he has a 20.9% K-BB%.

  • Tanner Bibee (83% Owned): He’s been dropped some, but it’s too soon for taht with the solid 18% K-BB% and 13.5% SwStr%. Just needs to throw a few more strikes with the four-seamer and then he’ll start ripping off quality starts.
