Weekly SP Streamers (September 1-4)
Looking for SP streaming options for the first week of September
Your league is in the playoffs, right? Is my home league the only psycho league out there that crams the playoffs into the last three weeks of the year? It might be. It’s not a great situation, but it does make that two week playoff sprint insanely entertaining. Except for if you don’t make the playoffs… like I have not. Like a total loser, I’ve missed the playoffs in a ten-team league where four teams make it.
I mean, I write a freaking fantasy baseball newsletter. I am one of the top fantasy baseball writers in the world, right? I mean there aren’t that many of us. This isn’t an alluring field. I’m not saying it’s super impressive, but I do think that would have to be true. I have a few thousand readers here (at peak, at least) and I make a significant amount of money doing this all. Just by virtue of those two things along with the fact that this is a super niche thing, I think you’d have to say I’m one of the top 20 or so fantasy baseball content producers.
I’ve sometimes thought about the alternative life where I was doing this full time and still looking for a wife. Like where I start dating a girl and want to marry her so I go to talk to her dad about it. And he asks what I do for a living. And I have to explain it. I don’t think that would go too well. But I’ve been married basically ten years now, and I have a normal job too, so we’re all gravy here.
